Old hot water heater in Kurri Kurri was 20 years old! Fantastic job, Dux! Just installed a replacement Dux system...this customer was happy with this product, and hopefully it will go for another 20 years (even though they have a 10 year warranty).

Installation of the most efficient hot water system on the market for off-grid: the Thermann evacuated tube solar hot water system. This was an interesting job as it was an off-grid property, and the customer did not connect the backup electrical booster due to being on an intermediate-sized solar power system. As a result, it took 2 days for the system to heat up to maximum water temperature, which was very interesting being the middle of winter. The storage tank only dropped around 4 degrees overnight, which was impressive for this time of year.

Latest job - nozzle on the down pipe and guttering has rotted away. It doesn't look like anything major, but if the water gets under the house, can cause rising damp and mould problems. which can affect your health. Also, they are losing 50% catchment from the roof to the water tanks. In drought times, this is significant. We specialise in small jobs to prevent us coming back to do big jobs!
