On Wednesday night we attended the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show as guests of Repurpose It , the Official Sustainability Partner of the event.

The Repurpose It team showcased their innovative approach to advancing Australia’s circular economy, transforming organic and construction waste into high-quality products that support landscapes, communities, and future generations. Now part of Repurpose It, the team also celebrated over 50 years of Bark King’s contribution to the bark and mulch industry.

At HDM Group, we’re proud to incorporate Repurpose It products across a number of our current projects, including the Vietnamese Museum Australia (VMA) and the Hardy's Road Family & Community Centre—supporting sustainable outcomes through quality materials that enhance our landscapes.

A highlight of the event was guest speaker and renowned horticulturalist and landscape designer Jamie Durie, , who made a memorable entrance by scooter before sharing insights into the exhibition garden he designed and delivered in collaboration with Repurpose It.

Thank you to the team for inviting us to a great event.
