Meet Trent đź‘‹
Trent Rooney has been part of the OMNI Building Group team for over four years now, and he’s very much one of those people who just quietly gets things done - and gets them done well.
Based with our Dubbo crew, Trent is a Lead Carpenter who leads from the front on site. Day to day, he’s coordinating and carrying out carpentry works, mentoring apprentices, and helping keep projects running safely, smoothly, and to a consistently high standard. He works closely with the wider OMNI team to solve problems as they pop up, always with a calm, practical approach.
One of the things Trent is best known for on site is his attention to detail and steady, solutions-focused mindset. He doesn’t get rattled under pressure, sets a great example for the team around him, and takes real pride in delivering quality finishes that reflect OMNI’s values - and our clients’ expectations.
Why do we trust Trent? Simple. He takes ownership of his work, holds himself (and others) to a high standard, and genuinely cares about getting things right the first time. He communicates clearly, makes smart decisions on the ground, and keeps work moving safely and efficiently.
If we had to describe Trent in three words? Honest. Genuine. Versatile.
Off site, he’s a devoted dad to his two girls - and on site, he’s very much known as the quiet achiever. The kind of team member every builder wants on their projects.
