Day 23 – The Final Day 💪🔥

150 push-ups completed today… and that’s a wrap!

Over the past 23 days, I’ve completed all 3,307 push-ups as part of The Push-Up Challenge, raising awareness for depression and mental health while helping support an incredible cause.

What started as a personal challenge turned into something much bigger. Along the way, I had family, friends, teammates, and fellow firefighters join in, push alongside me, and help spread the message that mental health matters.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared my posts, sent messages of support, joined me for a set of push-ups, or simply followed the journey. Your support helped keep me motivated every step of the way.

Mental health affects so many people, and if this challenge encouraged even one person to check in on a mate, start a conversation, or reach out for support, then every push-up was worth it.

To everyone who supported the challenge—thank you. 💙

And remember: it’s okay not to be okay, and it’s okay to ask for help.

Day 22 💪🔥

229 push-ups completed today!

Today’s push-up target is 229, representing the 22.9% of people aged 16–34 who have seen a health professional for their mental health.

Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Whether it’s talking to a GP, psychologist, counsellor, or another trusted professional, reaching out for help can be an important step towards better mental health.

Today’s effort was made even better with some special guests joining me. A few members of the team I signed up with jumped in to help knock out some reps — a big thanks to Jake Williams, Brent Shoard, and Jason Dearmer for getting involved and showing their support for the challenge.

One of the best parts of The Push-Up Challenge has been seeing people come together, support each other, and help raise awareness for mental health. Every conversation, donation, and push-up helps make a difference.

With only a couple of days left, the finish line is well and truly in sight. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. 💙

Day 21 💪😂

180 push-ups completed today!

Today’s target is 180 push-ups because research suggests that noticing the funnier side of life can enhance happiness for up to six months (180 days).

Life can get busy, stressful, and challenging at times, which makes it even more important to find moments to laugh, have fun, and not take ourselves too seriously. Sometimes a smile, a joke, or a good laugh with mates can go a long way.

To mix things up today, I worked some kip handstand push-ups into my gym session. They’re definitely a different challenge to regular push-ups, but it’s good to keep things interesting while working towards the 3,307 push-up goal.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, donated, shared, and followed along throughout this challenge. The encouragement has been incredible and helps keep me motivated every day.

Day 20 💪🔥

120 push-ups completed today!

Today’s push-up target is 120, representing the 1 in 2 young people who are concerned about their financial security, according to a recent report.

Financial stress can have a significant impact on mental health, affecting sleep, relationships, and overall wellbeing. It’s a reminder that mental health challenges can come from many different pressures in life, and that looking out for one another is more important than ever.

As I continue working towards completing 3,307 push-ups for The Push-Up Challenge, I’m proud to be raising awareness and funds for depression and mental health while helping start conversations that matter.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this challenge—whether you’ve donated, shared a post, sent a message, or simply followed along. Your support has helped make a real difference.

Day 18 💪📱

208 push-ups completed today!

Today’s push-up target is 208, representing the 2.8 million Australian adults who are active on social media.

Social media can be a great way to stay connected, share experiences, and support one another. But it’s also important to remember to look after our mental health online, take breaks when needed, and make time for real-world connections too.

One of the goals of The Push-Up Challenge is to get people talking about mental health, and social media has been a great platform to share this journey, spread awareness, and connect with so many supportive people along the way.

As I continue working towards 3,307 push-ups, I want to thank everyone who has followed, shared, donated, and encouraged me throughout the challenge. Every bit of support helps raise awareness and funds for mental health initiatives.

208 push-ups down for today, and another step closer to the finish line. 💙👊

Day 17 💪🔥

170 push-ups completed today!

Had Jason Dearmer join in for a set today, which made the challenge a little easier and a lot more enjoyable. Thanks for jumping in and helping knock out some reps, mate!

Today’s target of 170 push-ups is based on an interesting finding: doing at least one act of kindness every day for 7 days in a row may boost happiness, according to a study.

It’s a good reminder that even small gestures can make a big difference. Whether it’s checking in on a mate, helping someone out, or simply taking the time to listen, acts of kindness can have a positive impact on both the person receiving them and the person giving them.

As I continue working towards 3,307 push-ups for The Push-Up Challenge, I’m proud to be helping raise awareness for depression and mental health, while encouraging conversations that matter.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, supported, and followed along throughout the challenge. Your support means a lot. 💙
