Today we came across the classic you get what you pay for.
A Customer had an emergency job with a burning smell and loss of power and this is what we found.

A cheap Bunnings brand that had obvious loose connections internally and has caused this.
It completely melted and burnt through itself, the main switch and the RCBO on the other side.

They were very lucky that it didnt cause a fire or any other damage.

Now this is why sometimes jobs cost more than people expect and it’s due to the quality of materials used and the workmanship.

Today we got called to a job for a faulty💡light fitting and exhaust fan

We made light work💪🏽of this with having to change the size of the fixture and replacing the existing exhaust fan with new and fresh fitting.

⚡⚡After investigating earlier in the week, we found damaged underground cables for the pool shed that unfortunately couldn't be repaired being under concrete, we had to dig in new trenches & upgrade cables for the power to the shed.

Whether its freezing or in a heat wave we will always get the job.

Last week we went to Cobar water treatment plant to conduct some temporary tests to help with the corrosion in the tanks which involved some anodes being submersed in and taking readings of different current/voltages results.

This involved something we’ve never done before which was a good learning curve and something different but we managed to exceed the expectations and work out a plan to help the future water supply.
