1st Year Apprentice Automotive Electrician

Total Diesel Repairs (TDR) is a versatile contracting company supplying maintenance support to multiple companies across NSW. Based in Dubbo, we hold multiple contracts across several mine sites throughout NSW, in addition to maintaining and supporting our own equipment fleet.

We are currently seeking a 1st Year Apprentice Automotive Electrician to join our crew in Dubbo, NSW.

🔺 About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in the automotive electrical trade while working alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive workshop and site-based environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in:

Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
Installing and maintaining vehicle electrical systems
Working on light vehicles, heavy diesel equipment, and machinery
Supporting field service and mine site maintenance when required
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

We’re looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual
Switched-on and eager to learn
Mechanically minded with a genuine interest in automotive electrical work
A strong team player with a positive attitude
Committed to completing a 4-year apprenticeship
Holding a current driver’s licence
