🏊‍♀️💙 HOW GOOD IS THE NEW BRIGHT WAVES POOL? 💙🏊‍♀️

We have to give a big shout out to the team at Bright Waves in Echuca 👏

Our little Stella has been having an absolute ball since swim lessons started there 💦😊

Every week she's learning something new, building confidence in the water and loving every minute of it.

As parents, it's pretty special watching your kids learn new skills, but swimming is one of those skills that's about so much more than fun.

Living where we do, surrounded by the beautiful Murray River, channels, lakes, creeks and pools, water is a huge part of life in our community 🌊

That's why we believe learning to swim is one of the most important things a child can do.

It's not about creating Olympic swimmers.

It's about confidence.
It's about safety.
It's about giving kids the skills they need should they ever find themselves in trouble around water.

And if we're honest, it gives us parents a little more peace of mind too ❤️

The facilities at Bright Waves are fantastic, the staff have been wonderful and Stella is already looking forward to every lesson.

Watching her splash around, learn new skills and gain confidence has been worth every second.

🍻🎉 THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY! 🎉🍻

Well legends...

We made it 😅👏

Not going to lie, for a short working week, that one somehow managed to be both hectic AND drag on forever 😂

How does that even happen?!

Monday was a public holiday.
Tuesday felt like Monday.
Wednesday felt like it should've been Friday.
Thursday was chaos.
And today... we're finally here 🍻

The jobs got done ✔️
The phones got answered ✔️
The coffees got consumed ✔️☕☕☕☕

And now it's officially knock-off time 🙌

Who's ready to swap the work boots for a comfy chair and crack a cold one? 🍺😎

Whether it's a beer, wine, soft drink or just a hot shower and an early night, you've earned it!

😂🔧 GOTTA LOVE A SHORT WORKING WEEK... OR DO YOU? 🔧😂

Who else loves a short working week? 🙋‍♀️

That extra day off is pretty bloody good, not going to lie 😎

But then reality kicks in...

You suddenly realise you've still got to cram 40 hours of work into 4 days 😳😂

So it's a bit of a catch-22 really.

Monday:
😁 "Love having today off!"

Tuesday:
😬 "Righto, let's get a week's worth of work done in four days."

Wednesday:
☕ Coffee.
More coffee.
Maybe another coffee.

Thursday:
🏃‍♂️ Running on caffeine and determination.

Friday:
🎉 Survived....... Just

Don't get us wrong, we'll take the long weekend every single time, but gee it makes for a busy week afterwards!

💙🚑 THANK A FIRST RESPONDER DAY 🚒💙

Today is all about recognising the incredible people who put their hand up to help others when they need it most.

From Police, Ambulance, Fire Rescue, SES, Marine Rescue and Search & Rescue volunteers — thank you for everything you do for our communities 👏💙

These legends leave family dinners, get out of warm beds in the middle of the night, miss special occasions and drop everything when the pager goes off.

A special shout out today goes to our very own Jayde 💙

When she's not running Payne Plumbing, being a mum, wife, working full time, and keeping the boys in line 😅, she's also a volunteer with both Echuca Moama Search & Rescue and Echuca SES.

Countless hours of training, callouts, fundraising, community events and helping people on some of the worst days of their lives. We are incredibly proud of everything she does for our community 💙

And whilst Jayde is out attending jobs and callouts, a shout out also goes to Reags, who holds down the fort at home, wrangles the kids, keeps the business moving and supports her every step of the way 👏

Volunteer emergency services couldn't operate without the support of families standing behind them.
