Qualified Roofer / Roof Tiler – 2IC/
Leading Hand (Full Time)
We are a family-run roofing business based in Echuca, specialising in roof tiling across new and existing projects, working across both residential and occasional commercial sites.
Our work spans across Echuca and surrounding areas within approximately a 150km radius, so flexibility to travel is part of the role.
We’ve built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliability, and getting the job done right - and we’re looking for a confident, experienced 2IC / Leading Hand to step in and help drive that standard forward.
About the Role:
This is a permanent full-time leadership position for someone ready to take ownership on-site.
You’ll work alongside the business owner, helping run jobs day-to-day, lead the team, and ensure every project is delivered to a high standard - on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on-site and support a small team
- Keep jobs running efficiently and on schedule
- Ensure all work meets company standards and expectations
- Follow and enforce company protocols, policies, and procedures
- Maintain a safe, organised, and productive work environment
- Communicate clearly with the business owner and crew
- Uphold and represent the company’s strong reputation
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified and experienced roof-tiler
- Proven roofing experience is essential
- White Card (Construction Induction) required
- Roof plumbing licence highly regarded
- Proven ability to lead, take initiative, and make decisions on-site
- Strong work ethic and reliability — someone the team can count on
- Ability to hit deadlines and keep projects moving
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Confident managing both people and workflow
- Team player who leads by example
- Applicants must hold a current and valid driver’s licence
