Remember if you have a storage gas or electric hot water system.
You will require an new sacrificial anode fitted every 4-6 years depending on the hardness of the water in your area.
Also check your relief valves!
Very important

Here we go again, another burst i-plex burst pipe behind s kitchen cabinet/wall.
It's that time of the year again folks!
If you hear water running but your not using water have a check of your water meter. If you see the dial turning slightly it could mean you have a burst pipe or something is leaking that requires a bit of attention.

This water meter leak was passing 1litre per second 86400 litres per day, Not including the leak before the shut off valve!

The Water corporation thought it would be ok to leave from Thursday morning when I reported it until Saturday night. 🤔🤔 before the repair was made???
Even though I reported it as an emergency!

Today, ScottCare Plumbing was truly honoured to donate this mobility scooter to a very special client, Erica, someone I’ve had the privilege of knowing for around 15 years.

Erica has been through a lot, including the heartbreaking loss of her husband a few years ago to Alzheimer’s.

Through it all, she has remained strong, kind, and full of spirit. When I realised this scooter could genuinely help make her daily life a little easier, there was no question in my mind, it belonged with her.

This wasn’t a sale, and there was no charge. Just a gift from ScottCare Plumbing to someone who truly deserved a helping hand.

Sometimes it’s not about business. it’s about people and caring, and community spirit.

I’m grateful I could give back, even in a small way.
