Active Cooling Solutions is looking for an exceptional Apprentice Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Mechanic on a full time basis to join our team. The role will be Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.30pm.

Active Cooling Solutions provides refrigeration and air conditioning solutions to meet our clients domestic, residential, and commercial needs. We work with food manufacturing companies, shop owners, and others who require commercial or industrial service and maintenance for refrigeration/air conditioning.

Role and Responsibility
● Supporting qualified tradespeople in all areas of refrigeration and air-conditioning including breakdowns and repairs, service, installations and maintenance
● Complete a range of job requirements such servicing, inspection, repair of air- conditioning equipment and components.
● Utilise skills and knowledge to assist with installation and maintenance and repair work to domestic, commercial, and industrial premises.
● Other adhoc duties as required
Essential Skills and Qualifications
● Must be a 3 rd or 4 th year Apprentice
● Unrestricted, manual driver’s license
● White Card
● Refrigerant handling licence (as a trainee)
● Knowledge of and ability to comply with WHS obligations and other relevant company policies
● Good level of physical strength and fitness
● Ability to use and bring their own tools
Desirable
● At least 3 years experience in a similar role
● Experience meeting efficiency targets
● Good communication and computer skills
