Foundation stud (number 9) offering RED and BLACK Brangus stud, Bimbadeen is located in the beautiful granite hills of the North Burnett. We have bulls and females available for stud and commercial breeders.

Just loving the absolute silky softness, smooth athletic movement, superb balance and sirey outlook of this guy - lot 11 Bimbadeen WHEELHOUSE W123 (PP). He's homozygous poll and black coat, out of a proven bull breeder. And he's a bit of a showoff!

It's been a little quiet here on social media as Amanda (promo chick/photographer/video editor/jack of all trades/master of none) has been working on our 2026 BIMBADEEN GENETICS SALE videos - she is cross-eyed from her annual run-in with Adobe Premier!! (Not to mention still recovering from her annual encounter with Indesign for the catalogues - which are in the post TODAY!).

Meet Bimbadeen WEST WING W222 (PP) - a superbly put-together young Brangus bull with a really nicely balanced set of EBVs across the board and a lovely temperament. He will be lot 52.

ONE MONTH to go!

Amanda is neck-deep in cataloguing (it should be in the mail by the end of next week) and the boys are constructing the sale ring as we speak. Never a dull moment round here...

Some viewers noticed THIS GUY in the post I shared the other day of Jacko doing his 'bull whispering' ... so let me make the formal introductions.

Meet our lot 9 bull, Bimbadeen WOODSMAN W127 (PP). Beautifully put together, terrific bone, slick skin and bucketloads of sire appeal. Out of beautiful dam Bimbadeen P102 (PP) who had another absolutely CRACKING bull calf weaned off her this year.

Did I mention he has a lovely temperament too...

Breaking up your FB feed (of sale bulls) with a SUPER cute update from the breeder paddocks...

The first EARLWOOD CURRAN (PP) calf has hit the ground - just 276 days after this young super sire (and 2025's Australian equal top-price Brangus bull) was released into one of our main stud paddocks. Snappy work!

'First arrival' honour goes to Bimbadeen K60 (PP)* - a super consistent cow by the great Doonside IRA HAYES. K60 has good even weight and carcase EBVs and ranks in the top 4% for MILK - with an absolutely spectacular bag of milk (with immaculate teats) testifying to this ranking. She is rising 13 years of age and still looks terrific (in a very dry season here at Bimbadeen Brangus).

While this little guy is pictured at only 36 hours old here, we are loving the 'real little bull' style he is already displaying. He is shown here enjoying some loving attention from Mum to his navel.

* Bimbadeen K60's 2024 bull calf, Bimbadeen WAYFARER W009 (PP) will be offered at the 2026 BIMBADEEN GENETICS SALE on Sept 21. He is a real hidden gem at lot 26 in the catalogue ... 'sale spotlight' post to come on him.

A sneaky shout-out to our resident 'bull whisperer', Jacko...

Jack takes care of everything at our bull depot 'Jindalee' - from farming and fencing to feeding our sale team. 'Unfortunately' for Jack, he also has some mad skills when it comes to getting bulls to 'stand up' for catalogue photos (possibly the most patience-testing job of all when it comes to his chosen career).

He doesn't relish the limelight much and is a master at ducking out of photos generally, but I (Mum) DID manage to capture him candidly at work with this year's sale team.

And while he is safely at a mate's wedding this weekend, I am also sneaking in a SUPER cute photo taken almost 20 years ago. (Showing that even at the tender age of five, he had a very natural affinity with large bovines!)

✅ Top 3% retail beef yield
✅ Top 6% EMA
✅ Top 6% (or better) for 200/400/600 day weights

He stands over a lot of ground and at last weigh-in (a month ago) he was close to overtaking the top weight bull in this draft (who is more than 3 months older). We really love the way this guy MOVES too - easily handling his size.

🛑RED (BRANGUS) ALERT...💋

We only have four red bulls in this year's sale, but what we lack in quantity, we are making up for in serious quality. Meet Bimbadeen WASABI W169 (PP) - a 21-month-old sire with terrific balance, frame and style.

Photographed amongst his sale mates this afternoon, WASABI showcases the kind, masculine head (and temperament) of his sire (Tannyfoil MAVERICK) and is out of one of our most consistent red bull-producers, Bimbadeen J5 (who has her 11th calf weaned this year - another lovely bull).

DNA shows WASABI as homozygous RED COAT and POLL. Fertility shouldn't be an issue, registering amongst the highest semen results for the sale (85%/96%).

This young bull's EBVs (July BREEDPLAN run) are a great balance:
✅ top 4% EMA
✅ top 30% (or better) fats
✅top 30% 600dw
✅ top 20% carcase weight
✅ top 15% (or better) for steer indexes
