Spent some quality time with the class of 2026 Bimbadeen Brangus bulls last week... this is a lovely group of 17 to 20-month-olds from which we will whittle down the final draft for the sale.

A few contenders for the Top Temperament award - leading the race currently is the super sweet Bimbadeen W009 (by Bimbadeen TRAVOLTA T194 (PP)(IVF).

LOCK IT IN YOUR CALENDAR: the 2026 Bimbadeen Genetics Sale will be held on Monday, SEPTEMBER 21 at 'Jindalee'.

We are narrowing down the sale team at the moment - a lovely lineup of Brangus sires for your selection including this sweet young bull in this image: Bimbadeen W202.

Currently just 18 months of age, he has superb breeding (Bimbadeen SAVANNAH (PP) x Bimbadeen MEMPHIS (PP)) and is one of the last two of the natural-bred Memphis bulls to be offered. Soft, solid, strong and with a great set of Breedplan EBVs, this guy will be one to watch.

We have a list of W names for this year's team - Amanda is leaning towards WAVERLY for this guy (influenced by his sire and dam). All name suggestions shamelessly encouraged!

Why YES, weaning is RIGHT around the corner!

Dusk photo of Bimbadeen P0150 with her super solid, sappy heifer calf X222. This cow is incredible at maintaining her condition while raising terrific calves in any season - a balance that is priceless for beef breeders.

Feed is drying off here and the weather is cooling down. We can't wait to get this cohort of calves into the yards to check them all out properly. Stay tuned.

Our small (but mighty) team has been processing our stud and commercial breeder paddocks lately, enjoying the office outlook and the savouring the results of the neverending quest for the best animals we can produce (seedstock AND commercial).

This little series shows Sarah, Mark and myself (in the buggy) rounding up and walking the multi-sire mob from one of our larger paddocks, 'Mahogany', to Main Yards.

A couple of STRAPPING young Brangus bull calves for your enjoyment... out of two of our wonderful stud dams with runs on the board, who are clearly doing an amazing job on this year's offspring too.

X026 is the second calf out of Bimbadeen T33 (PP) - a stylish Bimbadeen Memphis daughter with her first calf (W16) being presented at the 2026 Bimbadeen Brangus Genetics Sale later this year (Sept 21).

X023 is the first bull calf for exceptional Oaklands Ambassador daughter, Bimbadeen M3 (pic in comments). She was also dam of Bimbadeen TILLY (sold at inaugural BLING Sale).

As always, we encourage name suggestions for our sale animals - and these two boys are definitely in the early lineup for 2027. X-names for this challenge!!
