Huge congratulations to Joel Fergie (The Zookeeper) and Jordan Bruce (Brightsiders) on being selected to transform the GrainCorp silos for the Forest Hill Silos Precinct and Mural Art Project!

Before the paint hits the concrete this month, site preparation is key. Our CMBM Building Services team was on site delivering high-standard commercial surface preparation, utilising hot water pressure washing to ensure the massive silo surfaces are clean, sound, and primed for the artists.

Projects of this scale celebrate the identity and spirit of local communities, and we are proud to play our part behind the scenes alongside Lockyer Valley Regional Council and GrainCorp in bringing this landmark visual experience to South East Queensland.

It’s always great to see happy cleaners on site bringing positive energy to work every day, and our client agrees. We just received this glowing feedback from the Cairns Tanks Art Centre manager:

"They are honestly the best cleaners we’ve had here in my time as manager... attention to detail, the pride they take in their work, and their friendly attitude. Deb is a fantastic supervisor, and we really value how reliable and flexible the team are when event requirements change. They’ve really become part of the TANKS team."

In our industry, people often only get in touch when something goes wrong. Having a client take the time to share how much they appreciate our crew’s reliability, flexibility, and good vibes means the world to us.

Huge recognition to our Cairns CSM Deb for her outstanding leadership, and to the entire Cairns crew. Well done!

As spring progresses and storm season draws closer across Queensland, routine preventative maintenance is what separates a smooth wet season from costly operational downtime.

Heavy rainfall tests two critical areas first: your gutters and your roofline.

Clearing Gutters & Downpipes: Accumulated leaves, silt, and debris quickly cause blockages. When torrential downpours hit, backflow into ceilings, walls, and electrical infrastructure can cause structural damage within minutes.

Commercial Roof Washing: Algae, moss, and lichen degrade roofing membranes over time and impede natural water runoff. Thorough roof washing removes built-up biological growth, reveals hidden micro leaks or cracked tiles early, and extends your asset’s lifespan.

Taking a proactive approach today protects your tenants, your team, and your bottom line tomorrow.

Don't wait for the first severe storm warning to find out where your leaks are. Schedule a preventative roof and gutter inspection before the season peaks!

With our team fully certified in Working Safely at Heights (RIIWHS204E), we are completely confident in delivering the works on your roof safely and to the highest standard.

Get in touch with our team today to book your pre-storm maintenance check.

Huge shoutout to Ruby, CMBM Stars of the Month! 👏

Whether it’s tackling an unscheduled deep clean or supporting her teammates, Ruby constantly goes above and beyond expectations.
Just this week during a major event clean at CPAC, she didn’t wait to be handed a to do list. Before the team even walked through the door, Ruby had already grabbed her trolley, restocked supplies, cleared bins, and had high traffic areas spotless.

Thanks to her proactive eye and incredible work ethic, attendees and staff couldn't stop raving about how flawless the venue looked throughout the entire event.

Thank you, Ruby, for setting the bar high and bringing your professionalism every single shift.
