Peter Jones Constructions tailor plans to suit the environmental conditions of your site and South-East Queensland in general. Peter has almost 30 years in the building trade. Combined with a regular team of skilled tradesmen, this vast experience ensures an efficient building process and shorter construction times.

We’ve reached the end of an era for the home my kids and I have been proud of for 17 years. Many of you will remember it as the example I often showed what can be achieved when creating your own family homes. I thought it would be nice to share a few photos of it dressed up in a way it’s never been displayed before, now that it’s ready for sale. (I’m far too practical to ever pretty it up like this myself!)
It has been wonderful working with so many incredible clients over the past 30-plus years. Together, we’ve created beautiful family homes for great people—some of whom we’ve had the privilege of building multiple homes for.
As this chapter closes, I’m hoping to spend a little more time fishing and alot less time working. I also want to say a big thank-you to all the amazing tradespeople, and of course our colour consultant Sharon, who I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside to bring these family homes to life.

Pete's Build.

I would like to thank and express my gratitude to Zane's Fabrications for the outstanding workmanship and dedication demonstrated throughout this project. Zane's exceptional welding skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality have been evident in every stage of the fabrication process. The cattle rail fence looks incredible. All steel was supplied by Mates Rates Steel.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Chris and Team at Mates Rates Steel for their generous supply of quality products, outstanding customer service and exceptional industry knowledge. Their support has made a difference, and I truly value their professionalism and commitment. It's been a pleasure working with a team that goes above and beyond in creating my new shed/home.
Also extend a huge thankyou to Zane's Fabrications for all his incredible work with the fabrications and welding. Your attention to detail, craftmanship, and dedication have truly brought it to life.

Pete's Build:

Inside is finally finished and cleaned by Pete's incredible cleaners Builderellla's Cleaning Service who have cleaned all Peter Jones Constructions builds for a lot of years now.
Pete is very happy with his new space and over the next couple of months will slowly be moving in.
Will share the rest soon. Stay tuned ☺️

Pete's Build:

As Pete's build is nearly completed, just a couple of my trades need to come in and he will get to enjoy his new home. It has been a long process, but it will all be worth it in the end.
It's coming together beautifully.

After two years of waiting for the transformer to go up and get power over to Pete's new build, it finally happened a couple of weeks ago now. Everything has been able to move along faster now.

"Results happen over time, not overnight. Work hard, stay consistent, and be patient."

Pete's Build:

Pete and Jacob have been working hard in cutting and positioning all the fencing rails for Zane Fabrications to come along and do his magic with welding them all together.
It makes such a difference with keeping the cattle at bay so Pete will be able to lay some turf down without it getting eaten 😄

"If there is a fence and you don't know it's purpose, climb it."

Pete's Build:

With the edge of Pete's patio, he has been creating a gorgeous rock wall feature. It looks amazing from the bottom of the farm looking up towards his new place. Blends in so well with the whole aesthetic of the land and his build.

Pete's Build:

There is a feature wall on the patio area that has been lined with Knotwood aluminium cladding, in the colour of merbau. This is an incredible product due to it being a powder coated aluminium shiplap profile that will not rot, shrink, warp and will never need painting.

"Cost is more important than quality but quality is the best way to reduce cost."

So when your new pizza oven is that large and heavy you need it to be craned in..........
Anyone who knows Pete very well knows how much he loves his pizza. I think Pete's new moto in life should definitely be "Life happens, Pizza helps."

Pete's Build:

The interior has been on hold for a while now. Pete's new place needs to get the tiling/carpets laid down, painting throughout as well. As you can see in one of the photos the stunning grey tiles will get laid in every area except the two bedrooms.
Pete and his incredibly talented carpenter Jacob made the barn door for Pete's office area. It complements the whole aesthetic of the open plan. The office nook can be hidden away behind this lovely feature of a door.

Pete's Build:

With all this wild weather we have experienced over the past week nothing has been going ahead. Pete's new build has been at a standstill too, but we have the latest stage to share with you. As you can see the stunning brickwork to brighten up and make the kitchen stand out is in the stunning breakfast bar as a feature. The stone that has been chosen is beyond stunning. Also there is a small butler's pantry tucked in there. But the most exciting and striking element again is that brickwork where the fireplace will reside. The colours all work and flow in perfectly. Must be because he turned to the incredibly talented Sharon Langella - Interior Decorator who has been working alongside Pete and supported each other's businesses for 20 years.
