🌿 WE'RE TAKING A LITTLE BREAK! 🌿

We're heading off on a very special family trip to Newcastle to cheer on our daughter as she proudly represents Queensland! 🏏

📅 OFFICE CLOSURE DATES

🔴 CLOSED: Wednesday 21st October – Monday 2nd November

🟢 REOPENING: Tuesday 3rd November

During this time, our office will be closed. We'll still be checking our messages when we can, but please bear with us as responses to calls, emails, texts and DMs may be delayed.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we take this special time to support our daughter.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful customers for continuing to support our little family business. ❤️

May & Luke 🕷

Ava will now be doing some fundraising to help with the costs of her trip to Newcastle to represent Queensland at Nationals! 🏏

She’s hoping some of our amazing local businesses and people in the community might be able to help her along the way.

It definitely doesn’t have to be money — Ava would be so grateful for anything that could help, whether it’s a voucher or item she can raffle, a small donation or sponsorship, sharing one of her fundraisers, supporting an upcoming fundraiser, or even just wishing her good luck! 🥰

We completely understand that not everyone is in a position to help, and that is absolutely okay. Every share, message and little bit of support means a lot to Ava and helps her get one step closer to Newcastle.

She’s ready to put in the work herself too… and no doubt drag the rest of the family along with her! 😂

🏏❤️ WE’RE CALLING ON OUR LMS FRIENDS, FAMILY & LOCAL COMMUNITY! ❤️🏏

We’re very excited to share that our daughter Ava has been selected to represent Queensland at the National Cricket Championships in Newcastle this October! 🏏

Now comes the fun part… fundraising! 😆

We know how incredibly supportive our community is, so we thought we’d put the call out to any friends, family, customers or local businesses who might like to help Ava get to Nationals.

We’re looking for items or vouchers to raffle, donations or sponsorship — big or small, absolutely anything would be greatly appreciated. ❤️

And it is absolutely okay if you can’t donate! We completely understand that everyone has their own things going on and there is no pressure whatsoever. Even sharing one of Ava’s fundraisers, buying a raffle ticket or simply wishing her luck means just as much to us. 🥰

To kick things off, LMS Pest Services is donating a $375 PEST CONTROL VOUCHER to be won in one of her upcoming raffles! 🐜🕷️🏠

If you’d like to donate something or help sponsor Ava, just flick us a message.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support our family and business have received from this community over the years, and we can’t thank you enough for getting behind Ava on this exciting little adventure! 🏏❤️

We've been treating a lot of German cockroach jobs lately...

One thing we always make sure customers understand is that German cockroaches are very rarely a one-visit job—and that's not because the treatment doesn't work.

What we see time and time again is the first treatment knocks the population right back, but over the next couple of weeks you'll notice a few more appear. That's usually the eggs hatching. The egg case protects them from most insecticides, so it's completely normal to need a follow-up treatment to break the breeding cycle.

Another thing we've noticed is that people often think they're coming from outside. In reality, they're usually living somewhere warm and hidden inside the home. The places we find them most often are behind fridges, under dishwashers, around hot water systems, inside kitchen cupboards and even inside coffee machines and microwaves.

A few things you might not know:
• One female can produce 30–40 babies from a single egg case.
• They don't need a dirty house. We've treated spotless homes with heavy infestations.
• If you're seeing them during the day, it's often because there's simply not enough room for them to hide anymore.
• We've found them hiding in coffee machines, air fryers, toasters, gaming consoles and even power boards—if it's warm, they'll give it a go.

The earlier you deal with German cockroaches, the easier they are to control. Once they become established, they multiply incredibly quickly.

If you've started seeing the small tan cockroaches around your kitchen, don't ignore them. They won't disappear on their own.

⚠️ Messenger Issues ⚠️

We've noticed that some Messenger messages aren't coming through, and a few customers have told us they've been waiting for a reply.

If you've sent us a message and haven't heard back, it's likely we simply haven't received it.

Please give us a call, send us a text, or flick us an email instead, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Thanks for your patience while we sort this out—we really appreciate it!
