We’re looking for a reliable, skilled operator to join our Vegetation Management Team across CQ, Central Highlands & Coalfields (Moranbah / Middlemount and greater CQ area).

This is a real job for real operators — not a fill-in role.

WHAT YOU GET

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Chemical w**d spraying & vegetation control
• Native vegetation rehabilitation and establishment
• Skid steer (slasher/mulcher), tractor, mowers, whipper snipper, chainsaw
• Rural & asset fencing installation and repairs
• Facility maintenance across civil & resource sites
• Daily pre-starts, risk assessments & safe work practices
• Accurate job recording & data entry

WHAT WE WANT
• A reliable operator who turns up every day
• Comfortable working long shifts outdoors in all conditions
• Strong safety mindset (no shortcuts)
• Can work in a team or independently
• Looking for stable, long-term work

ESSENTIAL
• C Class Licence
• ACDC Spraying Ticket
• Chemical & Mechanical W**d Management Experience
• Willing to Work 12hr Shifts on 8/6 Roster

HIGHLY REGARDED
• Skid Steer / Tractor Tickets
• Fencing Experience (rural or civil)
• Mining / Civil / Farming / Vegetation Background

Dufty Civil Solutions, a locally owned civil earthworks business operating across the Bowen Basin, is expanding its team. We are currently seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Operators & Supervisor to join us for a Mine-site Topsoil Removal Project. These positions will be based on-site in Moranbah, working a 9/5 dayshift-only roster.

Requirements:
• Proven Experience with the above listed equipment or bigger
• Relevant RII competencies for machinery & Training Transcripts
• Current Driver's Licence
• Current Standard 11 Induction - Surface
• Current Coal Board Medical

About You:
• Proactive approach to work with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a safe working environment.

From early starts to long days in the machines, the team has performed outstandingly, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. It’s great to see the pride our operators and driver's in every task, big or small.

We also specialise in pest and vegetation management, underlining our commitment to a wide range of environmental management solutions. As a leading service provider in the resources and renewable energy sectors, we pride ourselves on our versatility and adaptability. Our offerings include both dry and wet plant hire, civil construction services, site maintenance and vegetation management.

YOUR ROLE:

Due to continued growth, we have a Vegetation Control & Facility Maintenance Position’ available within our Vegetation Management Team. You will play a vital part in the continued growth and smooth running of this team with your role, involving but not limited to:

• Completion of Daily Equipment Pre-starts, Take 5’s, JSEA’s, etc
• Conduct and follow risk assessments and procedures for tasks
• Operate Skid Steer with Slasher / Mulcher
• Operate Tractor with Slasher
• Operate Mowers, Whipper Snipper & Chainsaws
• Operate Side-by-Side buggy
• Chemical Spray Application
• Data Collection and Logging

Highly Regarded Skills/Qualifications:

• ACDC W**d Spraying Competency
• Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical (desirable)
• Skid Steer & Tractor Tickets (desirable)
• Current C Class Drivers Licence (mandatory)
• Agricultural experience / vegetation management experience (desirable)

Working within a close-knit team and playing an integral part in the smooth running of the business, your hard work will be appreciated and rewarded. This role is full-time, and applicants must be available to work up to 12.5hr days on a 9 / 5, 8 / 6 or 7 / 7 day roster.
