After a wonderful time as part of the About Architecture team, Melissa is stepping into an exciting new chapter and establishing her own business.

Melissa has brought so much care, creativity and thoughtfulness to the studio, our projects and the clients she has worked with, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed during her time with us.

Thank you, Melissa, for everything you’ve brought to About Architecture. We wish you every success with your new business and can’t wait to see what comes next 🤍

Some of the best decisions on a project don’t happen on site, they happen around the table

We spend a lot of time in conversation as a team. Talking through ideas and plans, making sure what we’re designing actually works for the site and the people living on it

It’s easy to think architecture is just drawings and builds. But so much of it is this bit, the thinking, the discussing, the going back and forth until it feels right

If you’ve got a regional build in mind and want a team around you who’ll actually sit down and think it through with you, our Studio Sessions are exactly that.

A low-cost way to get real guidance without committing to a full consult.

Send us a message or drop a comment if that sounds like something you need👇🏼

Rose River House, Cheshunt

The process versus the product.

It’s easy to only see the finished home, but we love sharing what happens before the walls go up, the mud, the framing, the raw materials waiting to become something special

Every build has this stage. It’s not glamorous, but it’s where the good stuff starts
