It was fantastic to deliver the design and construction of the 1000sqm Shearing Shed with 7 stand custom Shearing Shed fitout for our client the Midlands Agricultural Association.

The project also included a new amenities block and services and fire upgrades to the site for future shows and events.

Thank you to the the Tasmanian Government for providing the funds for the project and the MAA for trusting us to deliver the project.

We look forward to seeing the Shearing Shed in action at Shearing Events and Campbell Town Show in 2026.

A fantastic milestone for Tasmania's Wool Industry!

Today I had the pleasure of celebrating the completion of Tasmania's first purpose built Shearing and Wool Handling Centre in Campbell Town.

The wool industry is a key economic contributor to Tasmania and a significant employer in regional areas. Our government is a proud to have supported the delivery of the this project.

Congratulations to the Midland Agricultural Association Inc and all those involved.

Everything from Earthworks, Slab, Shed supply & install, Electrical, Drainage and a small toilet, were designed and constructed to the clients requirements by Peltzer Construction.

After three hectic days of listening to Sam talk about sheds, yards, bridges and concrete, a quiet, relaxing Sunday was needed... like a walk in the bush on the family farm.
