Called out to this 15kw Actron ducted split not cooling and leaking water. Found drain and filters completely blocked causing extensive damage to the plaster ceiling below the unit. Blocked filters will also eventually lead to compressor failure and an expensive repair. This is a good reminder to get your a/c units serviced regularly. ❄️

Mechanical failure of this Copeland scroll compressor in a 15kw commercial packaged a/c unit. This compressor failed due to a blocked return air filter causing liquid migration back to the compressor. This unit now requires a new compressor and highlights the importance of preventative maintenance on a/c units.
