As winter approaches and you're taking electric heaters and blankets out of storage, be sure to inspect them for any damage. If you notice damage, discard them - It's not worth the risk of fire.

Remember:
- Always watch children around electric heaters
- Do not cover heaters with sheets or blankets
- Do not leave electric heaters on when you leave your home
- A safety switch can enhance electrical safety when using electric heaters
