I couldn’t be happier with this floor. After discussing what was required and the finish to be applied it was all systems go. All the reclaimed flooring was sourced by clients, then we installed the floor and of course sanded and finished. It looks so good and really does lift things in a beautiful way.

I am absolutely so happy with the results on this old hardwood floor. A mix of tas oak and vic ash gives this home that really shabby chic vibe. The repairs were first on the agenda as I believe a central fireplace may have been built there and when decommissioned just covered over with random wood. With repairs done the sanding was booked in and let me tell you, this old 4 coats of poly and stain was bloody hard to remove. Worst I’ve encountered for years.
With it all removed the end result was always going to be light, natural and flat.
I know the results are exactly what was required and clients are over the moon 😊

A quick flip on this Blairgowrie Beach house.
This was last minute booking and made the commitment to get this done. Not knowing what to expect really as it was all discussed over the phone, which i don’t ever do. But with limited time to get out there for an inspection, I was just hoping that things would not be a headache. As it turned out the place was 90% clear as painters had left all their tape and plastic over the stairs.
Anyway all good, got it done including just the treads , finished in satin requested by clients and it honestly looks unreal.

Another fantastic finish in South Yarra. The coating was old and long overdue for a visit from the Candy Man. So the plan was to just freshen it up and make it look great without the damage it had. Floor was finished in a satin which best matched the hallway area that wasn’t getting done.

I couldn’t be happier with the finished result. After originally quoting this job in 22 then back again late last year to confirm everything it was all locked in.
First thing was removing the stained boards due to animal urine and refitting some new boards. That alone was a challenge as the floor was well glued, but also double nailed 🫣
Once replacement was done I was into the sanding. As there were 3 main areas and two areas not being sanded I decided the best possible solution to try and bring these areas together was to prime the floor first to pull a little colour out and then top with satin.
It looks seriously good and absolutely know the clients will be thrilled.
