🔥 FROM START TO FINISH… WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! 🔥

Swipe through to see how we transformed Tracey & Tony’s outdoor space, starting with the finished product and taking it right back to where it all began! 👀➡️

This one was all about creating a clean, modern entertaining area around their swim spa, with some seriously impressive features once the sun goes down! 🌙

🔨 What went into this build:
✔️ Custom powder-coated steel subframe, built to last
✔️ Compotech composite decking for a sleek, low-maintenance finish
✔️ Custom laser-cut Corten steel feature screens
✔️ LED backlighting bringing the screens to life at night
✔️ Integrated LED stair lighting for the finishing touch

The combination of composite decking, steel framing and feature lighting has completely transformed this backyard.

And those screens at night… 😍🔥

A massive thank you to Tracey & Tony for trusting Elevated Concepts to bring their vision to life!

The finish is only as good as what’s underneath it. 👌

Before a single decking board goes down, getting the subframe dead flat and level is one of the most important parts of the build.

A flat subframe means:
🔨 Straight, consistent decking lines
📏 No humps, dips or uneven boards
💧 Better drainage and fewer low spots
🦶 A solid, professional feel underfoot
🏠 A cleaner finish that stays looking good long-term

You can use the best decking on the market, but if the frame underneath isn’t right, the finished product won’t be either.

Do the groundwork properly. The finish takes care of itself.

Swipe ➡️ to see where this one started 👀

This deck had definitely seen better days — rotten joists, failing timbers and some questionable building methods meant it was time for a complete rebuild.

We stripped it right back and started fresh, replacing the old timber structure with a powder coated steel frame, built for strength, durability and longevity. 🔨

Finished with Ekodeck® designer series decking for a clean, low-maintenance finish, and topped off with an Alpine Spas sauna to turn the space into the ultimate backyard retreat. 🔥

From tired and rotten ➡️ to a space built to last.

A great deck starts with what you can’t see. 👌

That’s why we build many of our decks on a powder-coated steel subframe.

Here are 3 reasons why it’s a premium choice:

✅ Superior corrosion protection – The powder-coated finish adds an extra layer of defence against the elements for long-lasting performance.

✅ Won’t rot, warp or be affected by termites – Unlike traditional timber framing, steel stays stable and doesn’t deteriorate from moisture or pests.

✅ Stronger, straighter and built to last – Steel provides exceptional structural strength, helping keep your deck flatter, more solid and looking its best for years to come.

The decking might steal the spotlight, but the frame is what makes it perform.

Thinking about building a deck? Let’s build it right from the ground up.
