Very recently, PELLE Architects were absolutely thrilled and very honoured to be the recipient of an Award in the Commercial Architecture category for The Civic Pub project at the 2025 ACT Architecture Awards held at the National Library of Australia.

‘…The Civic Pub [Stage 02] is a clever adaptive reuse of an existing and under-utilised steel framed mechanics building. Minor modifications to the existing pub layout allow for an internal link entry into the new pub. The new link creates a sense of anticipation. Moving through into the new spaces reveals a thoughtful, warm and textural addition that sits within the portal framed structure of the existing building…’ commented the jury.

Thankyou to the jury who recognised how truly special this project really is. Thankyou and congratulations to our wonderful clients who allowed us the opportunity to collaborate with them and trusted us in bringing their vision to reality. This project was truly a team effort!

We are still flying high after the 2025 ACT The Australian Institute of Architects, ACT Chapter Awards were announced last Saturday evening at National Library of Australia where we were absolutely thrilled to be the recipient of an award in the Commercial Architecture category for our Civic Pub project. This week we turned 14! yes 14! Time sure flies when you are having fun and we sure have done that over the past 14 years! Everyday we are grateful to all of our clients who have put trust in us to work with them no matter the type or size of project! We thank all of our past and current clients and we also look forward to building long relationships with new clients. Cheers to us as we continue doing what we love!

It was an absolute pleasure to be able to help these young champs out with a new fresh kit last week. They all stepped up another gear and managed to achieve their biggest win of the season! Well done boys and all the best for the rest of the season!

Very excited and proud of Flynn who a few weeks ago, finished his Masters in Architecture and was a prize winner at his exhibition at University of Canberra! Flynn is an integral team member at PELLE Architects and very grateful we now have him full time in the studio!
