PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER

Another home upgrade, another step forward in a major statewide housing upgrade program.

Led by Project Manager Max Kueter-Luks and Leading Hand Thomas Reale, this upgrade involved a complete bathroom makeover, increased insulation with new floor coverings throughout the property, replaced property fencing and external walkways, and the replacement of the existing shed.

As Head Contractor, Kennedys Group is overseeing the delivery of upgrades across multiple properties, coordinating specialist trades and working closely with our client to manage works efficiently.

With 42 properties upgraded to date and more underway, the program is helping bring ageing government housing up to modern standards.

No two projects are the same, but our focus remains consistent: balancing quality outcomes with minimal disruption to tenants.

50 YEARS STRONG, BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE BEHIND IT.

A milestone like 50 years might belong to a business, but it’s built by people.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to bring together generations of the Kennedys Group story, from our founder Allan Kennedy and long-standing members of our team, to the people helping shape the business today.

Our Half Century Celebration was a chance to share stories, reconnect with familiar faces and recognise the team, clients, suppliers and supporters who have been part of the journey.

As our 50th year continues, it feels fitting to revisit a night that captured exactly what this milestone represents.

FRIDAY BEFORE THE AFL GRAND FINAL 🏆

CONGRATULATIONS LACHLAN 👏

We’re pleased to announce that Lachlan O’Donnell has been promoted to Project Manager at our Williamstown Branch.

Lachlan joined Kennedys Group in 2019 as a Plumber and has worked his way through the ranks, becoming a Leading Hand in 2025 before stepping into his new role as Project Manager.

During his time with us, Lachlan has worked across commercial plumbing, fire services, roofing and infrastructure projects, building plenty of hands-on experience along the way. He also completed our Future Leaders Program in 2025.

Known for being reliable, practical and a strong problem-solver, Lachlan has become a valued part of the Williamstown team and has earned this next opportunity.

Congratulations Lachlan on the promotion. We’re excited to see you take on the new role!

In our industry, conversations around mental health don’t always come easily, but asking a simple question can carry a lot of weight.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes, taking a few minutes to ask “R U OK?”, listen properly and keep the conversation going can make a real difference.

A PURPOSE-BUILT PIPEWORK UPGRADE

Complex infrastructure upgrades depend on careful coordination, particularly when works require a shutdown within a live, high-activity facility.

For this cooling tower project, existing stainless steel pipework was replaced and upgraded, with serviceable valves and sensors were refurbished and reinstated. This practical approach supports smoother system operation and improvements to the client’s processes.

Leading Hand Jason Farry coordinated the on-site works, supported by Brandon Bailey, Ben Green and David Friend. Together, their work helped deliver more reliable systems and improved operational processes.
