A growing practice, an expanding team and a second location to support the future of Queensland Endodontics.

Following the successful delivery of their original Wynnum practice, Dr Yao Teoh once again partnered with OPTIMA to design and build a new specialist endodontic clinic in Capalaba, Queensland.

With increasing patient demand and a growing team of associate practitioners, the expansion was an important step in providing greater treatment capacity and improved access to specialist dental care across Brisbane's bayside community.

Building on our established relationship, OPTIMA supported Dr Teoh from early property advice, lease negotiations and due diligence through to design, approvals and construction. With Dr Teoh continuing his clinical commitments throughout the project, our team managed the process to minimise disruption and deliver the new practice within a coordinated 12-week construction program.

Design continuity between the two locations was central to the brief, creating a familiar environment for patients while accommodating the operational needs of the growing team.

The result is a second home for Queensland Endodontics in Capalaba, strengthening the practice's ability to deliver timely specialist care and providing the capacity to support its continued growth.

The design of a veterinary clinic has a direct impact on how animals and their owners experience care.

Stage: Demolition complete & chair services marked out

With demolition complete and chair services now marked out, the blank canvas has been prepared for the build ahead.

It may still be difficult to envision, but this open space will soon become an efficient 9-chair orthodontic practice, bringing two existing practices together under one roof.

After previously working with OPTIMA on their flagship new build practice in Aranda, returned to us when their existing Canberra City practice could no longer support their growing patient volume and day-to-day operations.

The brief was to find a suitable full floor tenancy close to their existing city location, and create a larger, more efficient practice with improved patient flow, greater treatment capacity and better facilities for a team treating around 100 patients each day.

OPTIMA found the perfect location 100m from their existing city practice, and delivered a comprehensive practice design, construction and fitout project. We transformed the 309m² commercial tenancy into a purpose-built orthodontic environment.

The completed practice includes eight treatment chairs, larger reception and waiting areas, improved staff facilities and dedicated clinical support spaces, all planned to support smoother movement and a better experience for both patients and the team.

Within 12 months, Supersmile Orthodontist reported a 30% increase in revenue without adding additional orthodontists or staff, giving the practice a stronger platform for continued growth.
