Adelaide Fire Doors specialises in Fire Protection only including installation and maintenance of Passive Fire Systems. Passive Fire Protection is a fire safety preventative that reduces the spread of fire and refers to fire resistance level to diminish the chances of structural fire spreading. With the assistance of firewalls, floors, and doors it will prevent the spread of fire. SERVICES
Our services include the supply and installation of Passive Fire Materials to new and existing developments. We can provide Fire Stopping of all penetrations, Identification of penetrations and documentation, Access Hatches, Panels, and Control Joints. A range of sprays and boards can be applied to Structural Steel elements of the building. Vermiculite can be sprayed onto the Structural Steel elements or onto timber and concrete floors to upgrade them. Fire Rated Board (Promatect/Promat Board) can also be used as an alternative to the Vermiculite spray (Cafco 300) providing a Fire Rating of up to 4hrs. Intumescent paint is another product that can be applied to the Structural Steel elements to achieve a fire rating of up to 2hrs. We recommend and use International Paints (Akzo Noble), Dulux products and other Passive product suppliers.
