Tizzy and his family recently holidayed in Japan! 🇯🇵
..and of course what else do you do when you're a Surveyor? You play a family game of 'find all the different boundary pegs and marks' everywhere you go 🤣

▶️ Japan uses a blend of exact point marks cast in concrete and offset marks (arrows) to indicate land parcels

▶️ They also seem to have control point with different sets of heirarchy that are used for different kinds of set outs

▶️ They vary from basic screws, concrete nails with colour coded rings to beautiful polished brass domes with marks

❓ The Kalbarri Skywalk was evaluated as a ‘”key attraction” in WA, with 93 per cent of interstate visitors naming the tourist attraction as a reason why they visited the State.
