Always learning. Always improving.

We recently had the team from Master Electricians Australia visit the workshop for a Toolbox Talk with our electricians and apprentices.

It was a great session covering industry updates, practical knowledge and ongoing professional development for the team. Opportunities like this are a valuable reminder that learning doesn’t stop once you’re qualified.

It also happened to fall during Electrical Safety Fortnight, making it a timely reminder that staying up to date with training and best practice is one of the best ways we can keep our team, and our customers, safe.

A big thank you to Master Electricians Australia for taking the time to come out and share their knowledge with us. We really appreciate the support and investment in our team.

⚡️ Your home does a lot of electrical heavy lifting. When was the last time you checked it was safe?

As part of Electrical Safety Fortnight, we’re encouraging you to take a few minutes to check some of the everyday electrical items around your home.

🏠 Extension cords — check for damage, fraying or exposed wires.
⚡️ Safety switches — test them regularly to make sure they’re working correctly.
🔌 Power points — look for cracks, damage or signs of overheating.
🚨 Smoke alarms — test them and make sure they’re doing their job.

A few simple checks can go a long way towards keeping your home and family safe.

If you spot something you’re unsure about, don’t ignore it — get it checked by a licensed electrician.

Your switchboard plays an important role in keeping your home safe, but when was the last time yours was inspected?

We recommend testing your safety switches every three months and having your switchboard inspected by a licensed electrical professional every two to five years.

Regular inspections can help identify signs of wear, damage, loose connections and other potential electrical hazards before they become a bigger problem.
