About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about horticulture and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
You will be responsible for the care, maintenance, and development of client lawns & gardens, ensuring they remain healthy & tidy. Additionally, the successful applicant will be expected to support and collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
๐ฑ Pruning, weeding, and general garden maintenance
๐ฑMowing lawns, trimming hedges, and caring for garden beds
๐ฑOperating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment
๐ฑEnsuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
๐ฑSupporting and assisting fellow employees in day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operations (Supported Employment)
Requirements:
๐ฑPrevious experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture (preferred)
๐ฑPrevious experience in support work (preferred but not required)
๐ฑKnowledge of plants, flowers, and lawn care
๐ฑAbility to work independently and as part of a team
๐ฑPhysical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
๐ฑAttention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful landscapes
๐ฑStrong communication and teamwork skills
๐ฑA valid driverโs license.
๐ฑWorking with children (Blue Card)
๐ฑYellow Card/NDIS Workers screening check
