It’s hard to believe we are almost at the middle of June, and the shortest day of the year is almost upon us.
In Japan the winter solstice is known as Toji and at this time the return of the suns warmth is celebrated - this is known as Ichiyou Raifuku. Winter passes and Spring arrives. In Edo times it was thought to mean good fortune returns after hard times.
For us it means time to start thinking about the warmer months, now is the time to focus on your garden design and ensure we are able to create your garden for you in time to enjoy over the warmer months.
We are locking in garden builds for Spring/Summer now so if you have been thinking of your own Kihara designed Japanese garden now really is the time to get in touch with our team.
