With the end of daylight saving approaching, it is the time of year recommended to replace the battery in your smoke alarms. 🚨 Most people are not aware that ALL smoke alarms have a maximum life span of 10 years whether it’s battery OR hardwired! Boy it’s a humid one out there today! 🥵. With the weather cooling over the next few months though, it’s still a great time to get your fans installed! Did you know that most ceiling fans have a reverse mode! 😃 When you put the ceiling fan in reverse it will no longer create the downward cooling effect - instead it will pull air upwards from the centre of the room and push it back down the walls. This will also mean that you do not need to set your thermostat to be at such a high temperature to achieve a comfortable and warm environment. Ceiling fans are also less expensive to run, especially when compared to power hungry heating solutions. Whilst exact savings will vary it is not uncommon for a saving of up to 15% by using your fan in reverse. 💰 Why not call us today to look at what cost savings you can make on 0402 905 056
