🍛 This month’s local business spotlight is a particularly delicious one - Moksha Fine Dining Indian in Labrador!

Moksha has been one of our amazing clients for several years, and the family behind it are genuinely some of the loveliest people. They’ve put an incredible amount of heart and hard work into their restaurant, so it’s wonderful to see them receiving the recognition they deserve.

Recently named the Australian Good Food Guide Readers’ Choice Winner for Indian cuisine in Labrador for 2026! 🏆 A brilliant and very well-deserved achievement.

Moksha serves authentic North Indian cuisine made with quality local ingredients and carefully selected spices from India. From creamy Butter Chicken and tender Goat Biryani to sizzling tandoori plates and fresh naan, everything is packed with flavour — honestly, words don’t even do it justice! 🤤

They’re open for dinner every day from 4pm, as well as lunch from Friday to Sunday between 12pm and 3pm. They also have Happy Hour from 4pm–6pm! 🙌🍹

And then you swipe across and realise okay… she nailed it. 🔥

We absolutely love working with Mel. She somehow manages to make pest control look cool, puts up with all of our ideas, and clearly has no issue getting down and dirty for the perfect shot.

One of our regular customers sent us these photos this week because he KNOWS his pest treatment is due… and he also knows exactly what Dan is going to say when he turns up (𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘦𝘴, 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦) 🫡

🌿 Keep the gardens and vegetation under control
🪵 Don’t stack timber against sheds or buildings
🐀 Remove clutter and potential rodent harbourage
🪳Reduce areas where pests can hide and breed
🐜 And please stop creating a termite buffet in the backyard…

He’s recently noticed an increase in rodents and other pest activity and, looking at these photos, it’s not too hard to see why!

The good news? He’s got a week to clean it up before Dan arrives. ✅️

So if your backyard looks like this — or your Dad’s does (Father’s day is coming up) — consider this your sign.

Clean it up, move the timber away, clear the vegetation… then book the pest guy! 🐜🕷️🐀

Because pest control works a whole lot better when we’re not competing with an all-inclusive pest resort. 😆🏖

Flying termites aren’t eating… they’re reproducing! 🐜🪽

Flying termites, known as alates or swarmers, are the reproductive members of a termite colony. They leave an established colony to find a mate and attempt to start a new colony.

Here in Queensland, swarming commonly occurs during the warmer months - particularly from spring to early summer and again from late summer into early autumn - often during warm, humid conditions and towards dusk.

Seeing swarmers around your property doesn’t automatically mean termites are attacking your home, but it can indicate a termite colony is present nearby or somewhere in the surrounding area.

If you notice large numbers of flying termites or discarded wings around your home, it’s a good reason to make sure your termite inspection is up to date! 🏡🔍
