Solar without a battery is half a system.

Everyone gets sold the panels. Nobody explains the catch. Your panels only make power while the sun’s up, which is the exact time nobody’s home to use it. So it gets sold to the grid for scraps.

Then you come home at night, flick everything on, and buy that same power back at full price.
Make it. Give it away. Buy it back. That’s solar on its own.

A battery closes the loop. What you make in the day, you keep for the night. Simple as that.

That’s why in 2026 the two go together. Panels make the power, the battery makes it yours.

Sun’s up on the Gold Coast pretty much year round. Might as well actually keep what it gives you!

So at night you’re running off power you already made. For free.

Usage charges basically gone. Some quarters you’re even in credit. All that’s left is the daily supply charge, and that’s the whole bill.

Runs on sunshine all day, feeds off the battery all night, so you’re barely touching the grid at peak rates.

Power prices aren’t going backwards. Every quarter that bill creeps up and you just cop it, because what else are you gonna do?

Meanwhile the sun’s hitting your roof every single day for free and you’re doing nothing with it.
