It’s the Little things that make the difference for us and today’s install is a perfect example!
1 - indoor unit mounted 100 mm away from corner of the wall. Recent updated manufacturer warranty conditions specify that air conditioners must now be installed with this space for possible access to indoor pc board.
2 - outdoor unit mounted on condenser feet for easy hosing and cleaning underneath and behind the outdoor unit.
3 - Condensate drain ran to downpipe with air gap to avoid wet balconies but also to prevent flood back should the downpipe block.
4 - Sprayed with action clear coat corrosion spray on outdoor pc boards, motors, coil and panels to slow rust and corrosion.
5 - we understood that this system is considered a climbing point as it isn’t 1.5 m away from the balustrade, we’ve organised a custom rail to match the current balcony railings to run in front of the air conditioner.
