👷‍♂️🔧 WELCOME KADE & KOBIE! 🔧👷‍♂️

We’re excited to welcome Kade from Gold Coast Trades College and Kobie from TAFE Queensland to the My Plumbing Man team!

Both boys are joining us one day a week as part of their 80-hour plumbing placements, getting hands-on experience out in the real world alongside Glen. 💪💧

And they’ve certainly hit the ground running!

🔥 Kade kicked off his placement learning about:
🔹 Installing two Apricus Australia heat pump hot water systems
🔹 Installing a new bath
🔹 Carrying out a toilet repair

🌊 Kobie had a pretty awesome start to his first day:
🔹 Helping install a tap out on a jetty pontoon… not a bad way to start the morning! ☀️
🔹 Installing a shiny new toilet 🚽✨
🔹 Helping diagnose and fix a client’s water pressure issue

A huge part of learning a trade is getting out there and experiencing the variety of jobs that come through every day, and we love being able to give the next generation of tradies the opportunity to learn, ask questions and get involved.

We’ll have Kade and Kobie joining us each week while they work towards completing their 80 hours of industry placement, so if you’re lucky enough to have them turn up at your job with Glen, make sure you say hello! 👋

👋 Meet Lucas!

Lucas has joined us from TAFE Queensland to complete his 80-hour work placement as part of his Certificate II in Plumbing.

Safe to say… he has absolutely hit the ground running! 💪

In just his first day, Lucas has already been involved in:
🔧 A kitchen renovation fit-out in Surfers Paradise
💧 Quoting a drainage solution for one of our clients
🚽 Learning how to service a toilet
🔥 Assisting with the installation of an electric hot water system

Not a bad way to kick off a placement!

Over the next 10 weeks, Lucas will be joining Glen one day each week, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of the plumbing industry. We love being able to support the next generation of plumbers by giving students real-world experience alongside a qualified tradesman.

If you’re lucky enough to have a booking while Lucas is on placement with us over the coming weeks, please make him feel welcome. We’re proud to be helping the next generation of plumbers learn the trade. 👏💙
