Following a relatively dry winter, some trees across the Gold Coast may already be experiencing moisture stress. As we move into spring and summer, strong winds, heavy rainfall and changing soil conditions can place additional stress on trees.

🌳 Today’s job – Paperbark Tree Removal

Today the crew removed a row of mature paperbarks that have unfortunately outgrown their location.

While paperbarks are beautiful native trees, these ones were wedged between a roadway and commercial property and were causing a few ongoing issues:

🌿 Root intrusion impacting stormwater and plumbing services
🏠 Heavy leaf litter contributing to roof and gutter issues
🌳 Restricted canopy growth resulting in poor structure
📍 Simply too much tree for a tight urban space

Sometimes tree removal isn’t about the tree itself, it’s about having the right tree in the right location.

Stay tuned! Once the stump grinding is complete, replanting with more suitable vegetation will begin. 🌱
