Not every project is a full cosmetic transformation.
Sometimes the most important work is the work you’ll never actually see.

AMOC COMPANY was engaged through body corporate for structural rectification works at Park Lane, Hope Island, after multiple water ingress issues caused structural failures throughout the external façade system of this 9-year-old building.

This project involved:
• Structural rectification works
• Installation of new structural posts and LVLs
• Removal and replacement of failed cladding
• Waterproofing and flashing rectification
• Temporary propping and structural support works
• Painting and reinstatement works
• Bringing the building back to Australian Standard compliance

From the outside, the property may look much the same as before — but behind the cladding is now a properly rectified structure built to perform the way it always should have.

Rectification work isn’t glamorous. It’s detailed, messy, and often completely hidden once complete. But there’s something rewarding about restoring confidence in a building and giving owners peace of mind knowing the unseen work has been completed properly, safely, and to a higher standard than when it was originally constructed.

Project Day Flower

Our team transformed this poolside with a stunning Merbau hardwood deck, designed for both beauty and durability.

To achieve the perfect level, we excavated over 3 cubic metres of soil, lowering the height and ensuring correct drainage and stability. The deck was constructed using an H4 low-joist system – the ideal choice for pool surrounds as it resists rot, handles constant exposure to moisture, and maintains structural integrity over time.

Finished with a rich, protective oil, this Merbau deck delivers a warm, luxurious look that will stand up to the Gold Coast climate for years to come.

📍 Mayfair Project | Surfers Paradise

We’ve recently returned to the iconic Mayfair building in Surfers Paradise, now completing remediation works on a total of four balconies within the complex. This continued engagement reflects the trust placed in AMOC COMPANY to deliver lasting, compliant solutions on high-rise structures.

The original balconies had been tiled with indoor-rated product, which led to premature surface breakdown and a failed waterproofing membrane beneath. Substrate repairs were required before full rectification could begin.

We supplied and installed Travertine Stone Silver 600x600 glazed porcelain tiles from — a product designed specifically for external use. These tiles feature a textured finish with a high slip rating, ideal for exposed outdoor environments such as high-rise balconies. With their timeless natural patterning and neutral tone, they offer a modern yet classic aesthetic that complements the coastal surrounds of Surfers Paradise while meeting critical safety and performance standards.

Hardwood Deck Revival | Yatala, QLD

Perched on a scenic acreage block in Yatala, this beautiful Queenslander just received a full outdoor revival with a brand-new high-set hardwood deck—purpose-built to soak in those stunning hinterland views and afternoon sunsets.

This project wasn’t just about looks—it was about restoring structure and safety. We carried out extensive re-rating of timber framing, repaired multiple structurally compromised areas, and rebuilt the stair entry. Several decking sections were carefully lifted and reset to ensure long-term performance and peace of mind for the homeowner.
