Honestly, there could have easily been 10 winners this month — which makes choosing just one seriously difficult! 😂

"Why are there already spider webs after you've just cleaned the building?"

If only we could have a chat with the spiders and tell them to please relocate!🏡🕷️😂

One of the biggest misconceptions about pressure cleaning a building is that it stops spiders from coming back.

Unfortunately...

It doesn't.

When our team pressure cleans a building, we remove all visible spider webs, dirt and debris that are present at the time of cleaning.

However, spiders don't wait very long before moving back in. ( most of the time they never actually leave, they just scurry away and hide) 🙈

Depending on the species and conditions, they can start rebuilding their webs within minutes, hours or days after we've finished.

Spider control is a pest management issue—not a cleaning issue.

While we'll always remove existing webs as part of the cleaning process, we can't guarantee they won't return.

If persistent spider activity is an issue, we recommend speaking with a pest control provider about preventative treatments.

🧼 A Day in the Life of Our Window Cleaning Crew...( I think Kate's face says it all! )

People often think window cleaning is just a quick wash and wipe.

If only that were true! 😅

Lately, our crews have been tackling buildings where the window sills haven't been cleaned in years, and the building itself hasn't had a full external wash for a very long time.

What have they come across?

🐦 Bird droppings baked on like concrete.
🕷️ Spider webs and spiders... everywhere.
🍃 Years' worth of leaves, dirt and debris.
🗑️ Rubbish tucked into places you'd never expect.
🐭 Even the occasional deceased animal.
🤢 And windows covered in every kind of grime imaginable from years of neglect.

It's certainly not the glamorous side of building maintenance, but it's what our team turns up to do every single day—with professionalism, pride and a smile.
