Check this out 👀

Using the Termatrac iTracker Pro, on a suspicious area I was able to detect movement inside the structure.

That detection led to a targeted invasive inspection using a borescope… and this is what we found — Schedorhinotermes (subterranean termites) active within the timber.

This species has two distinct soldier types:
• Major soldiers with large, bulbous heads
• Minor soldiers with smaller, narrower heads

They’re one of the most destructive termite species on the Gold Coast and can cause serious damage well before they’re ever seen.

Here’s a mud lead from Schedorhinotermes (subterranean termites) found during a recent inspection, tracking straight up over the ant capping. Once they bridge that gap, it’s game on for the structure.

Ant capping helps… but it’s not a guarantee ❌
They’ll always find a way around if conditions allow.

This is exactly why regular inspections matter — catching it early before it turns into serious damage.

This termite nest was found WAY too close to the home 😳

During a general pest service in Benowa, I came across this active nest right beneath the structure.

This is exactly how termite problems start — unnoticed and right under your feet.

If you haven’t had a termite inspection in a while, it might be time.

🪳 Cockroaches flushed out during treatment.

When harbourage areas are treated, pests are forced out of hiding — which is exactly what we want to see.
