Charged up and ready to go ⚡🚗

We installed a new Evnex EV charger for Thomas in Pacific Pines. It has its own isolator and a cable holder, so the lead stays neat and off the floor.

Charging at home is one of the easiest upgrades you can make with an EV. You plug in when you get home and wake up to a full battery, with no more trips to the servo or waiting at public chargers.

Out with the old, in with the new ❄️

We took out Craig's old air conditioner in Upper Coomera and installed a new Mitsubishi Heavy Industries split system. The old unit was removed and disposed of, the new one went in neat and level, and we left the place clean.

A newer split system can make a real difference. It cools and heats more efficiently, runs quieter and costs less to run, which matters with summer on the way.

New Evnex E2 Core and switchboard upgrade for Greg in Upper Coomera ⚡🚗

We upgraded Greg's switchboard with new circuit protection, clear labels and a dedicated circuit for his EV charger. There's plenty of room left for future additions, and it's all set up properly alongside his solar.

Then we installed his new Evnex E2 Core in the garage. It has its own isolator and a cable holder, so the lead stays neat and off the floor.

Before and after: switchboard upgrade and new Evnex EV charger for Gavin in Oxenford ⚡🚗

Gavin's old switchboard had extra enclosures bolted on over the years (photo 3). We swapped it for a single modern board with clear labels, new circuit protection and room to add more later (photo 2). It now sits neatly beside his hybrid solar inverter.

We then installed his new Evnex EV charger with its own isolator. The conduit runs are straight and tidy, and there's a holder to keep the cable off the ground (photo 1).

If you're getting an EV charger, it pays to check your switchboard first. An older or overcrowded board may not cope with the extra load. Upgrading it at the same time means everything is safe, compliant and ready for years of charging.

Now that's how you make an entrance ✨

We recently installed feature lighting for Stephen in Runaway Bay, and the result is stunning. A large LED linear pendant now hangs in the high-ceiling void over the staircase, and a pair of round wall lights sits either side of the front doors, giving off a soft, warm halo glow.

Big voids and raked ceilings can be tricky to light well. Get it right, though, and a single statement piece becomes the first thing everyone notices when they walk in.

Three new ceiling fans and a new split system for Deni in Runaway Bay 🌀❄️

We took down Deni's 3 old ceiling fans and put in 3 sleek new white fans with LED lights. We also removed her old air conditioner and installed a new split system. After that, we took away the old units, cleared all the boxes and rubbish, and left the place spotless.

New fans and a new AC can make a home feel fresh. You get better airflow, lower running costs and a cleaner look in every room. It's a good time to do it, too, with summer nearly here.

Ever wondered what's hiding inside your air conditioner? 😳

We recently did a full hydro clean on Harlem's split system in Pimpama, and check out the mould buildup on the fan blades before we got into it (photo 2). That's what's circulating through the air every time the unit runs - not great for air quality or for how hard the system has to work.

After a proper hydro clean, the coils and fan are back to running clean and clear, which means better airflow, better efficiency, and healthier air in the home.
