💙⚡ WORLD OWN BUSINESS DAY ⚡💙

“Whenever you see a successful business, someone once made a courageous decision.” — Peter Drucker

Behind every successful business is a leap of faith, countless sacrifices, hard work and a whole lot of determination.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, grateful for those who’ve supported us and excited for what’s still to come!

Here’s to everyone brave enough to back themselves and build something of their own. 💙

Passing on the knowledge ⚡️🛠️

There’s a lot more to building a control board than putting wires in the right places!

Jack working alongside Brock, sharing his knowledge and experience while they build a custom control board for one of our industrial customers.

We’re pretty proud of the fact that we can design and build our control boards right here at STEC — but even better is seeing those skills being passed on within our team.

⚡🔧 HAPPY NATIONAL TRADIES DAY! 🔧⚡

Today we’re celebrating our three STEC tradies — Jack, Brad & Brock! 💪

Thanks for the early starts, hard work, problem solving, quality workmanship.

We’re pretty lucky to have you three representing STEC every day.

Cheers to our boys and all the hardworking tradies out there! 🍻⚡

🏆 TWO AWARD WINS. ONE INCREDIBLE YEAR. 🏆

2026 has given us plenty of challenges, but it has also given us some pretty special moments to celebrate.

We are incredibly proud to have brought home TWO major business awards this year! 🖤💛

🏆 Micro Business – WINNER
Business 2580 Awards

🏆 Excellence in Innovation – WINNER
Business NSW South East Regional Awards

For a small, locally owned electrical business from Goulburn, these awards mean so much to us.

The Micro Business Award recognises the business we have worked so hard to build over the years, while the Excellence in Innovation Award recognises the direction we are taking Southern Tablelands Electrical & Control through industrial electrical, automation, control systems and innovative solutions.

Behind both awards is our team — the people who turn up, solve problems, learn, adapt and continue to represent our business every day.

And of course, our amazing customers, suppliers, local businesses, friends and community who continue to support us and recommend us. We wouldn't still be here doing what we love without you.

From a little electrical business started in Goulburn to becoming a multi-award-winning electrical and automation company… we’re pretty proud of how far we’ve come.

Here’s to continuing to grow, innovate and see where the next chapter takes us. ⚡️

🏆 WE DID IT — WINNERS! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to announce that Southern Tablelands Electrical & Control (STEC) has won Excellence in Innovation at the Business NSW Awards! 🎉

Innovation has become such a huge part of what we do at STEC — finding smarter solutions, pushing beyond the traditional electrical space and continually looking for better ways to deliver for our customers.

To have that recognised at this level is pretty bloody special. 💚

A massive thank you to our incredible team. This award belongs to every one of you — your ideas, skills, hard work and willingness to think outside the box are what make STEC what it is.

And to our customers, suppliers and everyone who continues to back our little Goulburn business — thank you.

🏆 WINNER — Excellence in Innovation
✨ Business NSW Awards 2026

Safe to say… we’re taking this one home pretty damn proud tonight! 🥂

🏆 FOUR YEARS. FOUR STATE FINALS. 🏆

We are incredibly proud to announce that Southern Tablelands Electrical & Control (STEC) has once again been named a State Finalist in the 2026 NECA Excellence Awards!

This marks our fourth consecutive year as a NECA Excellence Awards State Finalist – an achievement that reflects the dedication, skill and commitment of our entire team.

To be recognised alongside the best electrical contractors in New South Wales is an honour in itself. Every project we complete is driven by quality workmanship, innovation and a commitment to delivering the very best for our clients and our community.

🥇 Can we bring home another NECA State Title?

Unfortunately, we won't be attending this year's NECA Excellence Awards, as they are being held on the same evening as the Business NSW Regional Awards.

We're incredibly honoured to also be finalists in SIX categories at the Business NSW Regional Awards, making it impossible for us to be in two places at once! While we're disappointed to miss celebrating with the NECA community, being recognised across both award programs is something we're immensely proud of.

No matter the outcome, we're grateful for the recognition and proud of what our team has achieved.

A huge thank you to our amazing team, loyal clients, suppliers and supporters who continue to back us every step of the way. Your trust and support have made achievements like this possible.

Please keep your fingers crossed for us as we chase another NECA title while also representing the Southern Tablelands at the Business NSW Regional Awards! 🤞⚡

⚡ UNPLANNED POWER OUTAGE – GOULBURN ⚡

Just a heads-up to our customers and Goulburn followers — there is currently an unplanned power outage affecting parts of Goulburn.
If your property is affected, please be aware the outage is a network supply issue and may not be an electrical fault within your home or business.
