Leak detection isn’t one method, it depends on the job.

Different properties, different problems, same approach… find the exact source first.

Underground leaks located using compressed air, tracing equipment and acoustic detection.
Wet ground will bubble at the leak point, dry ground gets traced and listened to.

Shower leaks diagnosed using flood testing and dye testing to confirm waterproofing failure.
Water tracking from under tiles is a common sign of grout or membrane issues.

Pressure testing used to isolate pipework and confirm leaks within walls, especially ones that only show when fixtures are in use.

Once located, faults are exposed, repaired and tested properly before being closed up.

Why recess a puddle fl**ge? Because it creates a cleaner, flatter finish, allowing a flush transition for the waterproof membrane and proper falls to waste.

The right tools make the job easy, and the puddle fl**ge recessing kit proved exactly that. In less than 1 minute, it cut a perfect hole with a clean recess so the fl**ge sits flush every time.

This house is only 2–3 years old… and already needed a major sewer repair.

The inspection shaft was buried just under the driveway without any mechanical protection. Years of traffic pushed the riser 50mm into the junction, completely blocking the 100mm sewer line.

With no external access, we had to remove a toilet just to gain entry to the sewer and locate the junction.

In driveways, inspection and boundary shafts must have mechanical protection — like cast iron or concrete lids — and stay accessible and locatable.

They’re your best access point when things go wrong.

Burying the problem now only means digging up the cost later.
