Glen and I would like to do a big shout out to Jeff Lowe - 'Lowie'. This week marks 8 years with us!! He has seen a few changes in his time and we are grateful that he has been part of our team. He is not only a great operator but also a pretty darn good bloke 😎

It is that time of the year again folks...
2025 has been another fantastic year for our team here at ATJs Earthworks. We have had the pleasure of working for amazing people for which we are always grateful. With each new project comes a challenge to always strive to get our customers exactly what they ask for - without exception.

We would like to throw in a massive shout out to our fellas Lowie, Andrew, Paul and Wayno who are top notch operators with bucket loads of experience that are instrumental in achieving the results that we do!💯

Glen and I hope that you all have an awesome Christmas break spending it with family and friends - with maybe a couple of beers thrown in 😎🍺

We will be closed from Christmas Eve and re-open again on Monday 12 January 2026.

ATJs Earthworks are looking for a Full Time Heavy Vehicle Operator with a minimum HC licence to join our team starting February 2026.

Job Description:
* Truck and Dog Operator carting material from our quarry at Gum Flat (10km west of Inverell)
* You will also be required to operate other machinery (front end loader/roller/water truck))
* OH&S (White Card) Mandatory
* Experience with other plant equipment desirable but not essential
* Carry out general maintenance on trucks and trailers
* Be neat and tidy in appearance

What you can expect from us:
* Above Award Wages
* Be allocated your own truck and trailer combination (not having to share with another driver)
* Supportive team members

Bitumen seal by RPQ completed today.
Weeks of preparation, consultation, tests, trades (a huge thank you to local trades who are stand out performers 👌), and the final go ahead for today. ..
This project was all bought together by this fella here.
