We’ve added a limited-edition tribute logo in honour of Pete ( for those who’s eyes are older then about 20yeas old. Peter’s name is in the filament of the light bulb) — the man who built the foundation of Groves Electrical and the reason we hold such high standards today. A small mark on the gear, but a huge part of who we are.

We are sorry to advise our business will be closed Friday 15th of August

It is with great sadness that we wish to let friends know that Peter Groves passed away on the 7.8.2025 after a sudden and short battle with cancer. Peter was a true gentleman with a heart of gold that will be missed by all.
His Funeral will be held at 10:00am Friday the 15th of August at the Cooloola Coast Crematorium Chapel 236 Brisbane Road, Monkland.

We are looking for a fully qualified Electrician located in Gympie to join our team. Duties include performing domestic/commercial electrical works, with both installation and maintenance works.

To be considered for this role it is ESSENTIAL that you have -

Electrical Trade Qualifications
Experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical works
Organised, Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and efficiently
Fluent with requirements under applicable industry Australian Standards, Legislation and Regulations
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
Exceptional Customer Service focus and flexible attitude
Ability to be On Call for After Hours
Open Manual Drivers Licence

An Electrician with previous Data and communication experience would be highly regarded

The role is full time with an immediate start.
