What a polished Job completed by CFM (Aust) for a very thrilled Incolink with Builder Struxture. Fabulous Kitchenette area features Laminex Australia Vic Ash Laminex doors complimented with Austaron Surfaces Storan Aspen Stucco benchtops and sparkling Laminex Metaline Diamond ice splashback and Surround bulkhead; Kitchen Island uses Laminex Possum completes a very useable kitchen area.
Feature wall panelling was set off with solid Timber KD Hardwood Battens from CT Timbers onto Onyx Acoustic Echopanel Backing Mitchell Group
Clean line with The Upholsterer using Instyle Vinyl seating in Colour Range on the Large Bench Seating complimented with Laminex Vic Ash Absolute Grain Finish in the Breakout Room. Certainly Incolink will be enjoying their Lunchbreaks in this amazing new area.

Jason Berry has dedicated nearly half of his life to CFM (Aust) Pty Ltd. Jason started working for years as a work experience student at CFM, after impressing with his interest in the Trade he started his Cabinet Making Apprentice with us in October 2014.

Jase has a welcoming and friendly attitude which has seen him take on many roles at CFM from Tradesman, Foreman and currently Leading Hand. His skill, compassion and leadership see him work extremely well, shaping future apprentices who are learning the Cabinet making trade.

‘Jase has been a long servicing employee who is very skillful in a multifaceted way. He has played an intrinsic role at CFM and we look forward to many more years of service.’ Ross commented.

Jason is photographed behind the curved counter he is currently building for Genesiscare Werribee Job. He is crafting the curved reception template for Corian in Glacier White from the shop drawings completed in the Office by Linda. I am sure Jas will be completing this explicitly with his expert skill and it will look top notch installed.

Jase recently celebrated his 30th Birthday with a cake and Friday night drinks with some of the CFM crew.

After the Lockers, CFM (Aust) have now completed Level 7 and 10 Commonwealth Law Courts in Melbourne with Builder AMA projects. The reception came up a treat with Laminex Australia Scallop 12mm on exterior and Laminex French Navy on back cupboards making a smart contrast. Also, polytec Boston Oak looks stylish in the Judge's Chambers combining with CEO office of Dekton Stonika Bergen Polished top. Hardwearing Stainless Steel in Kitchenette set off the Laminex colour Fresh Spring Cabinets with Hafele Australia Matt Black Handles. Check out the colour of Smokedrift for Vanity Corian Australia by CASF.

Check out this fancy café installed at Wyndham CSV Law Courts. Stunning solid surface Staron Ivory used on main benches Austaron Surfaces sets off the Laminex Australia prefinished board. CFM (Aust), Builder Harris HMC and the client were really thrilled with how the curved pillar and bulkhead with acoustic inserts in Pebble at Baresque Australia seamless accentuates the café. Stainless steel back counter by SJB Stainless allows for easy cleaning giving a polished look. CFM arranged the installation of glass cake display with Melbourne safety glass which produced the finishing touches to the Cafe.
Well done CFM another outstanding project delivered.

Stage 2 Completed for the Courts Services Victoria with a tailored look achieved again by CFM (Aust) working for Builder Harris HMC. Maxiply Perforated panels were a distinctive attribute used throughout. Blackbutt DécorSlat Half round Dowels and Tasmanian Oak Veneer stained to Colour match and used to set off the funky TV units, Lifts and curved Reception base.
The half round Fabric Pillars behind and beside the seating were a feature of this Job which CFM modelled and covered with Kvadrat Haku in house. Kitchenette used Laminex Australia cupboards, Madinoz Stainless Pull Handles by Keeler Hardware and featured Stainless 304 sparkling Benchtops and Splashbacks by Abco Stainless.
CFM really appreciate the team effort to complete a standout seamless finish at CVC.

Here is a sneak peek at CFM (Aust) Pty Ltd expert work of Lockers at Melbourne Law Courts for Builder AMA Projects. The lockers are made with natural looking Nordic Oak Woodmatt finish from polytec. Funky Digital Secura Black Locker lock with touch screen keypad supplied by KSQ. Hafele Australia Black Matt handles were used to finish the cupboards off. You must admit the sleek lines came up very well?

So looking forward to seeing the rest of the Joinery Project of CLC Level 6-10 Fitout, CFM (Aust) have secured and delivering again.

Four outstanding Early Learning Centres were completed by CFM (Aust) last year for SJ Higgins.
ELC McClelland at Frankston included Feature reception with polytec Timber Oak Contours Riverine applied vertically, Laminex Daintree Surround Panels and contrasting Staron Benchtop. Fire rated MDF in Raw Birch Perforated Ceiling Panels supplied by CFM with CNC controlled machinery perforating the panels for good acoustics.

Stylish seating by InStyle Kudos Vinyl Quest and completed by The Upholsterer, on CFM built Laminex base of clean line Raw Birch with seamless Locks from Hafele.
Waiting Point was constructed from Raw Birch and finished with fashionable Gherkin Pinboard by Autex Acoustics.

CFM (Aust) are extremely pleased with completing the 4 ELC at Kings Park, Harrisfield, Wyndham and McClelland to a very high standard yet again.

CFM (Aust) had a ripper day out on a Fishing Charter on Monday 9th February 2026, leaving from Sorrento to go outside the Bay. Beautiful weather for fishing, even though some learnt they get seasick and others they need sunscreen on a cloudy day!
What an experience for some of the UK crew who had not been a boat before and others never been fishing before but all managed to catch at least one fish each. Proline Charter filleted the Numerous fish on board. On return to CFM they later removed the bones and were coated and cooked by Master chef Jamie ready for lunch on Friday.
Thanks to for a great day on the water and Ross for shouting a fantastic fun bonding day.

Did you know it is National Apprentice Week?

A great opportunity to recognise the important role apprentices and school based apprentices play, with the enthusiasm and fresh perspectives they bring to our Jobs and teams at CFM (Aust) in the factory and on-site. We appreciate them all.

Beant Randwada 3rd Year adult apprentice on site today helping our Tradesman install.

Ben Yearot 3rd year apprentice studying plans on an i-pad to finish some cupboards he is working on. Ben completed a work placement with us at the end of Year 11 in November 2023 for 2 weeks and loved Joinery so much decided to stay with CFM as a full time apprentice in 2024.

Harrison Gabriel started with CFM in 2024 showing initiative approaching CFM (Aust) for a school based apprenticeship, doing a trial in Year 10 for 2 weeks in December and starting in 2024 working 2 days a week and attending his school 3 days in Year 11 and Year 12. He has now completed year 12, shortened his apprenticeship, and currently in 2nd year of his Cabinet making Full Apprenticeship.

Amy Pulley showed initiative applying mid-year 2024 for a Cabinet Making apprenticeship starting in 2025. She is a 2nd Year learning so many skills, seen in the photo sanding Corian for a vanity.

Declan Lombard just started this month with CFM (Aust) as a First year Adult Apprentice, as over 21-years-old. Seen moving board safely around the factory.

Ali Husani started in December 2025 as a School Based Apprentice working 2 days a week at CFM, Starting TAFE at Murray Mallee where they come into the factory for training and still completing His year 12 at school.

All these apprentices are a valuable asset to CFM who contribute in so many ways while they are been trained at TAFE and at CFM surrounded by experienced Tradesman, Leading Hands and our Foreman.

Michael Sammut has dedicated over 15 outstanding years to CFM (Aust) Pty Ltd. Michael started as a Cabinet Making Apprentice with us in June 2009. Michael’s skill, dedication and leadership has seen him take on many roles at CFM including Tradesman, Leading Hand, Foreman and working on many Sites; a journey that truly reflects his talent and hard work. Michael is multiskilled and many at CFM have valued from his experience as he shows them the trade.

Ross Clark Director shared, “Michael has a great attitude and positive outlook. He is one of those people you can rely on 100%. He sets the standard and always leads by example. He is an integral part of CFM and we look forward to many more years ahead.”

Let’s not forget Michael’s recent exciting news, becoming a Father to Steele. Congratulations Michael and Vanessa on the safe arrival of your gorgeous bundle. Another CFM employee in the future. What a bonus!
