How to Build a Brick Wall:

Materials Needed: Bricks, mortar mix, trowel, spirit level, string line, hammer, chisel.
Steps:

Mark out the area where you want to build the wall using stakes and string lines.
1. Mix the mortar according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Apply a layer of mortar to the foundation and place the first brick.
3. Spread mortar on the end of the second brick and press it against the first, leaving a small gap for mortar.
4. Use a spirit level to ensure the bricks are level and plumb.
5. Continue placing bricks, spreading mortar and checking for level as you go.
6. To create a strong bond, stagger the joints between the bricks.
7. Use a hammer and chisel to trim bricks as needed.
8. Clean off excess mortar using a trowel.
9. Allow the wall to dry for at least 24 hours before applying any additional loads.
