These wall panels are part of a wood-fired hydronic heating system.

Here's how it works 👇

A wood fire heats water inside a boiler. That hot water is then pumped through radiator panels throughout the home, creating comfortable, even warmth in every room.

For this rural customer, it was a great fit. With access to firewood and rising gas and electricity costs, a wood-fired hydronic system offered an alternative way to heat their home.

👑 It's the only time of the year we can use this joke... so we're going to use it.

The King has given us Monday off.
(And no, we're not talking about this guy 👇)

We'll be open as usual today until 5.30pm and tomorrow from 9:00am – 12:00pm, then closed on Monday for the King's Birthday public holiday.

What starts as a small leak under the sink is usually never just a small leak... 👀

This drain had built-up waste causing a leak underneath the sink and making a mess of things.

So we gave it the full treatment:
✔ Old drain replaced
✔ Everything cleaned up
✔ Re-sealed properly
✔ New mixer tap installed

Now it's flowing as it should and looking a whole lot better too.

Sometimes the jobs you can't see are the ones causing the biggest headaches. Luckily, that's our kind of problem 🔧

One of the most important parts of a plumbing job is usually the part no one ever sees 👌

James and Nathan B were recently out at Hopkins River working on the underslab plumbing alongside Huf Builders.

This is the stage where all the drainage and pipework gets installed underneath the concrete slab before anything gets built on top. Once the slab is poured, it’s locked in — so everything has to be spot on from the start.

It might not look flashy, but this part of the job is critical. Get it right now, and everything above it runs properly later on.

Good work by the boys getting it sorted before the next stage of the build kicks off 🔧
