When old whirlybirds seize up, they stop pulling heat out of your ceiling and start becoming a prime spot for roof leaks.

We came across two damaged ventilation units on this job, one on the main house and one on the shed—that were well past their sell-by date. We pulled them both out and installed fresh mill-finish whirlybirds, making sure the flashings were fully bedded and weather-sealed.

Taking the extra time to properly seal every roof pe*******on is the difference between a ventilated cavity and a water leak when the rain hits.

Same Goolman property we handled the roof restoration for, back again to sort out the car shed floor. This time it was 63 square metres of concrete carrying cracks and staining.

Epoxy job wrapped up in Goolman, 63 square metres of car shed floor with minor cracking and surface staining. We diamond ground the whole area with dust extraction, repaired the substrate with fast-acting Ardit, vacuumed it clean, applied a primer coat, then laid down light grey epoxy with a full broadcast of standard flake.

Backed by a 10-year workmanship and conditional product warranty.

Bit of a throwback for you, this one's from a job we did in Centenary Heights.

Full house reno, mostly chamfer boards with some render sections too. Inside had mostly new plaster going in, so we painted fresh internal walls throughout all 4 bedrooms in 3 different colours.

Outside we covered the full exterior including the shed, plus the front blue board got a Texture Cork paint finish for a bit of extra depth and character.

We'd also quoted the roof clean and paint at the time, so it ended up being a proper top to bottom refresh for the place.

Always good looking back at these ones. 👀

Roof job wrapped up in Goolman, Ipswich this week. We pressure cleaned the entire roof, soft washed the rear patio roof due to weight constraints, resealed all the capping joins and pe*******ons, and tightened or replaced screws where needed. Finished with a primer coat and 2 coats of Roof Protect membrane in Pale Eucalypt.

Warranty submission finalised and backed by a 15-year product warranty.

This Toowoomba roof looked fine from the street, but the real issues were under the tiles.

Damaged sarking in front of the patio, broken tiles, and blocked water courses were holding moisture, the kind of problems that quietly turn into leaks.

So we removed the affected tiles, repaired the sarking, cleaned out the water courses, relayed the tiles, and fitted gutter guard on the left-hand side and top section. The roof also got a full clean and paint.

The vulnerable area is now sealed and water is flowing properly again.
