Finally we’re looking at the tail end of Winter. Good riddance I say, Winter is definitely not my favourite season.
From now and into Spring is the perfect time to bring your paddocks back to life ready for the warmer months ahead.

AERATING
Aerating helps with decompaction, cracking the soil surface tension and lowering the soil hydrophobicity. This in turn allows oxygen, nutrients and moisture to pe*****te the surface to reach the roots where it is most needed.
FERTILISING
A fully organic fertiliser is always beneficial in adding well needed nutrients and helping soil structure.
We can also take soil samples and have them tested for deficiencies allowing us to know what minerals and nutrients to concentrate on.
SLASHING AND MULCHING
Rather than slashing and leaving thick windrows, flail mulching evenly spreads the clip chopping it into smaller bits allowing it to break down much faster.
Mulching down the thick, long old grass that livestock tend to leave promotes new fresh growth of desirable pasture grasses.
