This Minto Heights property needed a complete on-site wastewater upgrade — and this job did not make it easy for us. 😅

Here's what was involved:
🪣 Pump out & decommission of the existing septic tank
🪨 Rock hammering — hours of it!
🔧 Drainage rerouted from the original tank position to the new system location
💧 Surface spray irrigation installed to distribute treated effluent evenly throughout the land application area
🏗️ New system: A 10 person, NSW Health Approved, concrete BIOSeptic AU S10 Advanced Wastewater Treatment System
🌧️ Oh, and it rained. On and off. All day.

The property was under a council order due to a failing primary septic tank, and the owners needed a fast, reliable solution. We worked quickly, liaising with council throughout, to decommission and remove the old tank and install a new RELN poly primary septic tank reconnected to the existing absorption bed.

Job complete, compliance restored, and one very relieved property owner! 🙌💧

Stage 1 done and dusted at this Dural AWTS installation!

📸 These shots show the completed install of a 10-person concrete BIOSeptic AU AWTS — NSW Health approved and fitted with a surface spray irrigation system.

This property was under a council order due to a failing primary septic tank, so a fast turnaround was critical. We liaised directly with council, decommissioned and removed the old tank, and installed a brand new RELN poly primary septic tank reconnected to the existing absorption bed — all with minimal disruption and a speedy resolution for the property owner.

These photos from our recent LAUGHTONDALE, NSW tell the story — three absorption trenches, each 22 metres long and 600mm wide, finished neat and tidy despite the rain rolling in at the end.

A distribution box ensures primary treated water from the 4500L primary septic tank is evenly dosed across all 66 linear metres of trench, protecting both the system's longevity and the surrounding land.

This is what a quality install looks like. Rain and all. ☔✅

That's 66 linear metres of absorption trench installed at LAUGHTONDALE, NSW — and yes, we finished in the rain. 🌧️

Primary treated water from a 4500L conventional septic tank is evenly distributed across all three trenches via a distribution box, maximising the system's absorption capacity and protecting the surrounding environment.
