One of our recent customers had just bought a new Kia EV and wanted to make the most of charging it with solar.

Their existing solar and battery system was already doing a great job powering the home, but with the addition of the EV, they needed more solar generation to keep up with the extra energy demand.

To make that happen, we installed a new 8kW GoodWe inverter on the shed with 10kW of solar panels, along with an Evnex E2 smart EV charger.

Now the car can charge using excess solar during the day, and when the EV isn’t charging, any spare solar can help charge the home’s battery or be exported back to the grid for feed-in credits.

Another full home backup system completed!

This customer already had an 11 kW solar system that we installed a few years ago. Their priority this time wasn't just reducing their power bills, it was making sure the entire home stays powered during a blackout.
To achieve that, we.

✅ Expanded the existing solar system with an additional 3.8 kW of solar.

✅ Installed a GoodWe hybrid battery system with full home backup.

✅ DC-coupled the new solar to the battery inverter, allowing the batteries to continue charging from solar during extended grid outages.

✅AC-coupled the existing SMA inverter to charge the new GoodWe battery

A lot of battery systems only back up a handful of essential circuits. This system is designed to keep the entire home running, giving the customer the confidence that they'll still have power when the grid goes down.

Another happy customer powered up with a new GoodWe battery system featuring full home backup.

With 25kWh of battery storage, additional solar generation, and an Evnex EV charger installed, this home is now set up to maximise self-consumption and minimise reliance on the grid.

The battery charges from excess solar during the day, while the EV can be charged during off-peak periods or directly from solar generation. Combined with full home backup, this system provides energy security, lower power bills, and a future-proof solution for years to come.

Check out this sleek install! Today we set up an Evnex E2 charger on a pedestal for a customer’s Polestar at their place. What makes this one special? It works seamlessly with their Sigenergy solar system from PSC Energy, meaning their Polestar will be powered by their own excess solar energy.

Just wrapped up a solar install in Bligh Park. This one was a bit of a challenge those terracotta tiles were super delicate! But we handled them with care, no worries.

We also upgraded the customer’s old switchboard now with new safety switches, making the whole system safer and ready solar and built to last!

Just wrapped up a switchboard upgrade in Beecroft to prepare a customer’s home for their new EV charger! Their old switchboard just wasn’t up to the task. If I ever mention a switchboard replacement when quoting your EV charger job or any other works, don’t be surprised! Friday arvo call out! One of our customers had a power outage at home bit of a Friday afternoon stitch-up for us and the customer🤣 but all good in the end. Turned out to be just a faulty circuit breaker, so it was a nice easy fix!.

Today we’re on-site at one of the quarries we service, doing some of our routine testing. It’s a side of our work that dont generally post , but it’s pretty interesting stuff. We’re making sure all the electrical systems out here are safe, compliant, and running smoothly whether that’s RCD checks, tagging equipment, checking three phase motors or ensuring everything is up to the standards we live by. Just a little behind the scenes peek at what we do on a weekly basis any why we can sometimes be hard to get in contact with ! 😆
